Gary Catalan for District Clerk

Gary Catalan has spent over 25 years in Fort Bend working as a frontline Licensed Physical Therapist addressing the treatment and administrative needs of several healthcare agencies in both Fort Bend and Harris County. When Covid closed the economy, just like many others Gary was forced into retirement. Later, Gary turned on the TV to find the nation set on fire with riots. Watching the media demonization of law enforcement for political gain by democrats propelled Gary into political involvement. Gary’s hobby has always been a passion for firearms and the 2nd amendment. Within the firearm culture, Gary has spent extensive time instructing all levels of Firearms training. It is Gary’s love for law and order and the justice system brings him to this candidacy today. Encounters with law enforcement later leads to potential time within the courts. Gary believes in our justice system and desires to help our court system stay true to constitutional values. Gary wants to see conservative judges who protect our defense rights elected to office. When cases like Kyle Rittenhouse occur again, Gary wants to see and support the right judges who respect the law and proper procedures of a fair trial. 

Gary Catalan and his wife Dina have three children and two grandchildren. Gary, aside from being a competition shooter, loves sharing his passion for firearms and self-defense tactics as a licensed firearm instructor.
